I'm currently in my last semester at Roosevelt University as a Communications major concentrating on Media Studies. When not in class or studying I'm Station Director for "The Blaze", Roosevelt's internet radio station. My show "The Temperamental Coconut" airs weekly on Thursdays at 3:30. On the show guests and I will discuss various topics from nerd culture and make jokes along the way. I also have another job as a lab aide in the Communication Department's computer labs. Recently, I became a producer for FireTV, a new division of student media at Roosevelt. We are currently producing a half hour program for Chicago Access Network Television entitled: RU Around.
In my free time go out with friends and explore the city. I'm an avid comic book reader, as well as novels. I subscribe to several podcasts, like The Nerdist and Comedy Bang Bang. I love movies and TV for enjoyment and the producing of both.
I live in the fantastic city of Chicago. It has much to offer; cultural events, great schools, entertainment, food and job opportunities.
After school, I hope to find a job in media production, writing, hosting, or something related to entertainment. I hope to continue "The Temperamental Coconut" after graduation as a podcast.I'd love to work for a company like Nerdist Industries, Legendary Entertainment or DC Entertainment.
